Convection roasting means that each coffee bean is roasted on a bed of hot air. It is well-documented that
convection is a superior method of heat transfer, and results in a much more fully developed and evenly-roasted
coffee bean. The unique convection roasting system we use is computer controlled for absolute consistency and
efficiently separates the chaff from the bean during roasting. If the chaff is not efficiently removed during
the roasting process it can often smolder in the drum and leave unwanted tastes behind on the bean which will
result in unwanted taste in the cup.
